On Memorial Day Weekend, did some nice 40+ mile rides. One of which was from Castle Rock to Palmer Lake and back. Took State Hwy 105 out and it rolled along between the foot hills of the rockies and Spruce Mtn. Then back on the other side of Spruce Mtn. Saw a new born horse (Colt?) with it's mother, and on the way home a great storm on the praire. Watched a great lightning show as I biked back. Missed a couple of photos of the lighting by a matter of seconds. Also, when you pass 3 signs saying road closed ahead, pay attention!
