Did this hike somewhat unplanned. meant to veer right at a trail junction. liked this one better. went off trail past Lower Mohawk Lake to the un named alpine lake below Pacific Peak. if i continued into the bowl, I would hit two more un named lakes. Lots of mining ruins.  I should have started earlier, on the way down, I hit the crowds who where heading for the falls and lower lake. not many folks go up into the bowl.

Did this Hike with Peter from the 'hood. We kicked off from the Fourth of July TH, on yes, the 4th of July.  Amazing views on this hike. I didn't take a photo of the skinny dippers in the valley. It was full of streams.  great place to camp.
