RIFF2

RIFF2 was a success! Shane made a slide show of Sam in movie scenes, wine flowed freely and the Bicycle Thief was wonderful on the big screen. Crispin Glover was screening his new movie and crashed RIFF2.

Alex and I took the ski train up to Winter Park again this year.... this weekend, Katie's turn! Train stops right there at the lifts.... the tunnel goes under the Divide and then there's the view coming down....

Biked out to Cherry Creek State Park on Saturday, looped it and back, had to brake for deer. My experience is that deer ignore me until I stop. Then on Sunday, went up to ski at Copper. Great weekend!

Sam and I went to visit my family in Tacoma, friends in Seattle and a quick trip to Vancouver BC. Ferry photo is from Point Defiance in Tacoma. Second photo is from hotel room in BC. Seattle was great! rained the first two days there. ahh home!

The Lights will stay on until the Stock Show is over in late January. Denver tradition is that all holiday lights stay on until then.

Tree is up

Alex and Katie helped us decorate our tree the other night.

Tenth Anniv!

We lived the high life for a night. Stayed at the Brown Palace Hotel. It was built in 1883. Grand hotel! I think it was better than the Four Seasons. Service was right up there, and the rooms where better! Sam enjoyed over two hours in the Spa, I took in the Steam room (free to guests 9-9) then had the hotel driver take us to a Jazz club for Dinner and a show. Then back and more Steam rooms in the morning. ahh, espresso via room service..... it always tastes better.
