Took a Wilderness Survival course with the Mtn Club.  Spent Saturday night in a tarp. What I learned was the weight of the tarp, duct tape and contractor bag is same if not more of a Ultra Light tent without the room for Kala. And the tarp took over an hour to set up. Tent 10 mins. so if I did get into trouble, I'd rather have the tent...   Slept better in the tarp than I expected.

Slept overnight at 12,0000 ft for an early start. Had hoped to hit 3 14 ers, but I got a bad burrito the night before in Alma. Very windy all night and day, but it was still a great trip. Went with Peter, neighbor I met at CMC.
