The town painted itself purple for the Rockies World Series Games. They ended as spectacularly as they started. It was a great ride!

Train Museum in Golden

Golden has this neat train museum that I take the nephew and niece to a couple of time. Usually for them to see Thomas the Train.

Black Widow!

So we've notice this very kewl black spider in the house by the front door. I kinda like spiders, they keep the bugs at bay. There was a Wasp in the kitchen so I gave it to the black spider. Then Alex noticed the red hour glass on the belly- black widow in the house!! Very kewl!! oh, Sam's sooo thrilled. Particularly about the 700 baby spiders that they can lay.....

Autumn is here!

Best day yet! Weather has been 43 degrees and raining all day. we're not big football watchers, but decided to follow the Packers and watching the Rockies game right now. But more importantly, Sam made a phenomenal Apple Pie today. Followed by an extraordinary Butternut squash soup and dinner rolls. Exceptional autumn fare! The Pie had soul.....
